Matt began his calling to ministry here at First Assembly of God in September 2009. As a child, he watched his father serve the Lord as the Building Manager. He knew at a young age that he would one day also serve the Lord in this capacity when it was time for his father to retire.
Matt grew up at First Assembly of God, attending First Assembly Christian Academy from preschool through eighth grade. He went on to Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School, obtaining a proficiency license in electrical wiring and a high school diploma in 2001. Matt knew at that point he needed to follow the Lords calling into ministry and spent two years in Springfield Missouri attending Masters Commission- a program with a mission to “Know God and Make Him Known.” While in Masters Commission, Matt learned more about having a servants heart and how to carry out his calling.
Matt met his wife Melissa at First Assembly of God and were married in August 2006. Matt and Melissa welcomed their first daughter, Mikayla in December 2007.
Matt not only serves this church body as the Building Manager, but he is also a member of the Worship Team and a classroom teacher for the 3 year olds in First Kidz. He plans on fostering the calling of servant hood that others in the church body may have by providing opportunities for others to also serve the Lord in the upkeep of the church grounds.
