Membership (offered 2x per year)

The idea of church membership is not new, though at First Assembly we are trying to present membership in a new way. First, we begin our membership process with relationship in mind. Each person or couple sits down with a church leader to simply have a conversation. We want to hear your God-Story and share some of ours. The next step is participation in a 4 week Group Study of Romans 12-14 on biblical membership. The format is conversational and intentional towards building relationship with others in the study. Should you agree with the doctrinal, moral and participatory standards shared from God’s Word, you will be invited to become a member. The process will culminate with a commissioning service with the church body you are joining.
